"Her teachings are wholesome and true and there is always words of encouragement to push yourself further. Triptta often encourages us to, trust in ourselves and to BREATHE into our stomachs, by doing that you can do anything. I’ve taken that message and applied it not only to strengthening my yoga practice but in my everyday life. Her classes are fantastic!."

Yoga Nidra & Breathwork - in person

Root Chakra is located at the base of your spine/coccyx. and is responsible for your sense of stability and groundedness.

To get our Root chakra energies flowing well and in balance, the asanas focus on building stability and strength in our legs. The main 'bandha' used is the Mool Bandha (learning to tuck our hips in and tighten the kegel muscle).

Physical symptoms of blockage include lethargy or physically drained, problems in the colon, with the bladder, with elimination, or with lower back, feet issues, bad knees, and cramps. In men, prostate problems may occur. For more on the root chakra read my blog below.

Yoga Nidra or yogic sleep in modern usage is a state of consciousness between waking and sleeping, typically induced by a guided meditation. You may find yourself pleasantly surprised at the state of peace and calm you find in this session, and how sweetly you sleep after this experience.

Sacral Chakra Yoga - in person

The Sacral Chakra is located just above the coxic in our sacrum region. I.e along our spine but bang in the middle of our hip / plevic bones.. The scaral Chakra energy governs our flow of emotions & our creative self. The scaral chakra imbalance shows up in our hips and related muscle groups like the abductors adductors, gluts ,upper hamstrings, lower back, the genitals for men and the uterus and ovaries for women. This class focuses on opening the hips, which is affected by this chakra being out of alignment.

Hip opening and facilitate a balance in your sacrl chakra. Unblocking your sacral chakra involves getting the energies of the creative, sexual, and emotional self flowing again. It also involves feeling at home in your body. Some practices for unblocking the sacral chakra include meditation and yoga, affirmation, and self-reflection. Physical symptoms of blockage include: Pain and stiffness in your low back and hips. Feeling easily overwhelmed emotionally. Loss of imagination and no creativity. Out of touch with emotions and closed off. Sexual and reproductive issues.

Sun Salutation Routine & Breathwork - in person

All our chakras are located along our spine. And a straight and aligned spine is key to our wellness mentally and physically. The asanas in this class focus on aligning strengthening and stretching the muscles in your entire back and spine.

Starting from the base of your neck to the SI joints in your lower back, you will feel the benefit of the spinal stretches and twists after every class guaranteed! And in time you will see and feel the difference in the way you sit stand and even carry yourself. Yoga Benefits:

  • Back Stretches
  • Back Strengthening
  • Good Back Posture
  • Among other things, yoga helps ease lower back pain by gently stretching and strengthening the muscles of the lower back and legs and increasing blood circulation, which in turn brings healing nutrients to the injured tissues.

Have you ever noticed how when under stress you tend to hold your breath and/or breathe shallowly?

Breathwork with yoga increases the effects of the asanas as it takes oxygen deep into the muscle tissue, bringing greater release, while the movements provide increased blood flow transporting that oxygen to areas where healing is needed.

Additionally, like all yoga, these sun salutations stimulate the parasympathetic nervous system and help you to feel relaxed. Relaxation boosts your mood and improves your sleep. A bolstered immune system is another wonderful side effect.

The objective of Sun Salutation is to move between each posture with balance and grace, staying aware of your breath the whole time. To expand flexibility, you should delay for a couple of breaths in each posture, attempting to extend further with every exhalation. Ensure as you move from posture to posture, that you breathe in and breathe out deeply.

  • It can help with mobility and strength in the major joints of the body, the shoulders, and the hips. As well as other joint complexes including the wrists, elbows, knees, and ankles.
  • It helps with mobility and releasing of tension in the spine, offering both extension (back bending) and flexion (forward bending).
  • It can help stretch the front of the hips or hip flexor muscles (lunge) and the buttocks and back of hips and legs, or hip extensor muscles (down dog and forward fold). These two groups of muscles are often chronically tight if you spend a lot of time sitting.
  • It can help warm up the body.
  • It can provide full body movement as a counter to sitting or standing for an extended period of time.
  • It can act as a reset for the spine by gently moving the spine through back and forth movements to balance out over-stretching or over-tightness from either not moving, or demanding physical activity.

REMing & Breathwork - in person

REMing & Breathwork - 1 Hour Rapid Eye Movement is something most of us are aware of, but the benefits of employing the technique are widely unknown, outside of those who have had the advantage of this much-needed understanding. Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy (Shapiro, 2001) was initially developed in 1987 for the treatment of posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) but now is found to be helpful in various capacities, such as healing from anxiety and/or overwhelm.

How can it benefit you? You will experience this first-hand when you join us Friday evenings for this amazingly effective class which helps you pause in real-time, and process what you might have subconsciously avoided processing. Along with NLP, aka Neuro Linguistic Programming, breathwork it will allow you to sink into a deeper state and experience some of what is referred to as Quantum Healing. The more you allow yourself time to dedicate to this practice, the more you process stuff you don't want to deal with, with ease. AND you develop true gratitude towards yourself first. This process helps you experience true freedom of mind by being present and in gratitude. REMing helps to interrupt and recreate new brain synapse connections, virtually reframing trauma centers while creating new, safe, and healthy patterns while you release traumas you would have a difficult time displacing. Join us Fridays as we experience the physical, mental and spiritual benefits of releasing past traumas and blockages and step into a more whole you.
